Ipsy Wants Liquid Frosting

“Behind every small business, there’s a story worth knowing. All the corner shops in our towns and cities, the restaurants, cleaners, gyms, hair salons, hardware stores – these didn’t come out of nowhere.” – Paul Ryan

I had no idea when I started Liquid Frosting Nail Color in early 2012 that today, April 21, 2014 I would be sitting at my computer staring at an email from the Brand Partnership department of Ipsy saying their stylist LOVED my product and want to partner with the brand for a series of their monthly “glam bags”. What started out as a simple inquiry email three months ago has turned into a fast reality. I am a strong believer in the phrase “everything happens for a reason” so I do not believe that it is by chance that I have arrived at this door. [Patiently waiting for it to open]. Realizing that it is up to me and not chance to find a way to get to the other side of the closed-door, as the light shines through a tiny crack in the side. An opportunity such as this for a business that begin in the middle of my apartment living room floor is a once in a lifetime opportunity. Please allow me to elaborate on Liquid Frosting Nail Color. It was on a whim that I came up with the notion to start my own line of cosmetics [specifically nail polish], a billion dollar industry, what was one more brand of polish to rival all the others? Not wanting to simply be another nail polish line I did months of endless research on how I could make sure my brand stood out from all the others. [there are over 300 indie nail polish brands]. Hence coming up with Liquid Frosting “The Ultimate Wardrobe for Nails” , a five-free vegan line of trendy nail colors. brit2Liquid Frosting was set up to help support children with ADHD. Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, an other health impairment that causes learning difficulty. In an effort to raise awareness and support children [and their families] who suffer from this disorder a portion of all sales go to support our ADHD foundation of choice. That was some months ago and here are present day and currently working with one of the largest online beauty communities. Reaching over 500,000 subscribers each month with their Glam Bags, this opportunity is MAJOR! But just like with any big venture this is not something I am going to be able to do all on my own. In order to produce such a mass quantity of polish I am going to need a little help. So my team and I have not only strategized on some unique fundraising ideas but we have set up a GoFundMe.Com account. No donation is too big or too small, every dollar helps us get one step closer to Ipsy. Logo

Also, for our customers we ask that instead of placing orders through our website that all orders be placed via email [] and pay directly to our GoFundMe.Com account. If you are reading this, please take a moment and check out our fundraising page. $1.00 is all I ask.

Thank you for taking time to read this story.

Let’s Talk Polish

“A person’s nail polish tell’s me all I need to know about them.”

Just like your style of dress or your hair your nail polish color says a lot about your personality. How many times have you glanced at the nails of someone you’ve just met and formulated an opinion based on their bright red manicure or their bare boring nails? I personally have always judged women based on their manicure [or lack there of]. Unkept hands and nails say more about a woman than her clothes ever could. So what does your choice of nail color say about you?

Red Nails:
